Refreshments will be provided along with a wine tasting by Arrowhead Spring Winery.
Born and raised in western NY, Justin considers his roots in Niagara Falls to be one of the main inspirations on his creative journey. Currently living with and working as an aid for his grandfather in Youngstown NY, he enjoys the freedom to be creative and express his enthusiasm for life and its beauty. Surrounded with love and inspiration, he considers himself blessed with the capability to recognize and appreciate the challenges of our current global transformation. At a time like this, when our world could really use as many revolutionary thinkers as can be so inspired, the messages that are depicted through the reflection of his art and life experience can serve as a breath of fresh air in a time of great need.
Beginning at an early age, his passions were fueled by the various crime fighting characters of his time; a theme that has remained consistent throughout his life. Ready to stand up to adversity, Batman, a ghostbuster or possibly even a ninja turtle would arrive on the scene. Everywhere that he went he was prepared to serve and protect. With the loving support and encouragement of his family, Justin’s free spirit has always had the room to explore. With a passion for the arts in his blood and a determination to see us through, this boy was destined to scratch a creative itch.
Free to choose the direction of his life, there was always an interest in being creative. Whether drawing his favorite superhero, fulfilling a project in school or making gifts to be exchanged at the holidays, Justin was always looking forward to expressing himself. After years of playing instruments in school bands, he found himself attracted to playing the guitar. He began taking lessons and forming bands with those with similar interests. The power and intensity of the rock and roll that he listened to became the foundations of the “heavy metal” music he chose to play. Whether original tunes, or cover songs, this new way expressing his feelings quickly dominated his lifestyle.
Throughout his years in high school, music was his main inspiration and way of expression. He always had fun in art class and enjoyed putting his own twist on whatever assignments were given. As he marched to the beat of his own drum, he couldn’t help but to be dissatisfied with all of school’s formalities that left little room for originality. He never really liked the education system as a whole, and found these frustrations being channeled into his music. Finally having an outlet where all of his emotions could be freed and unwound, this was the beginning of a teenage rebellion.
Mid way through his final years at NFHS, he was introduced to digital photography. Having never really given the field much thought, this introduction sparked a flame that has to this day continued to burn and consume with a growing ferocity. At the same time as he began to find his true personal creativity, the diagnosis of Crohn’s disease and the adjustments in lifestyle that had to be made nearly crushed the life right out of him. After the failed attempts of the western approach in dealing with the challenges of his illness, his creative lifestyle became focused on caring very deeply for the well being of himself and those in the world around him. He considers these challenges to have been the greatest blessing in disguise, for what would have become of his foolish lifestyle could only have lead to a greater degree of suffering.
The path of visionary art, its culture and its implications were the next great steps in this process of transformation. Adventuring to NYC with his mother to experience the transcendental art of Alex Grey and other major galleries and museums in the area, these trips were certainly quite essential in his personal liberation. By grace he was so inspired and given the strength to live up to his challenges. After years of learning to cope holistically through the challenges of a dysfunctional and toxic body, Justin continues to live and grow in ways that will support greater wellness and awareness in the world.
His art is created with a profound respect for our nature, its processes and its potentials. From the intention of aligning with the greatest good of all, every aspect of his creativity serves to honor the gift of life, expressing a deep appreciation for all that is given rise to. It encourages the exploration of the unknown and acts to help facilitate and communicate the process of our personal and collective liberation. As a tool for renewal and personal transmutation, this art can help us bring about a greater understanding of what we truly are and help to clarify what it is we may be looking for. Much like in the deep sleep state or that of meditation, one can journey into the subconscious aided and empowered by this tool of great innovation.
Art for him in his personal life has become much like a spiritual practice. It acts as a kind of therapy, a catalyst by which he can address and process his complications most efficiently. He says that for him, everything about the creative process is sacred and holy. Whether it’s using the compass and ruler to depict our deepest structures, or the camera and its lens to capture the fleeting instant, the action itself is a place of great power. All art serves as an access point, where being creative is to commune and merge with our source.
His life revolves around the idea that there’s much more to our existence than can be perceived. In a world of such great mystery, he expresses himself from a place where our deepest truths may bring about the unimaginable. Mainly nature based, his photography is inspired by the elegance of our beautiful planet as well as the ancient traditions of the mandala. Fascinated by the patterns and style of our magnificence, Justin has found himself a student of sacred geometry, the art of universal perfection. Touching on quantum theory and the science of frequency, Justin has chosen to explore where many refuse to look.
As his lifestyle is geared toward service, awareness and presence, he recognizes himself to be a channel by which truly inspired inventiveness can come to life. A practicing Reiki channel since 2005, his creativity has come to reflect and honor the love and light of the Divine. Demoxium Productions was born as a way to serve in the world and provide assistance to those in need. Demoxium is a word that he created to represent this mode of expression and the messages that the Heart has to convey.
The crafts that manifest are intended to reflect and inspire, helping us to remember how truly amazing life is. Through his art, Justin reminds us to take time and slow down to appreciate the simplicity of our being. Fueled by his devotion and commitment to this life, his heart remains open and warmly embracing everything that has come to be. With the invitation of remembering the sacred, he welcomes us home as we choose to embrace the implications.
“I resonate with all religious and spiritual traditions to some extent, though the common ground between these views is where I’d rather be recognized. I know that I represent something far to vast too be put into words, though through my creativity I’m committed to pointing the way to where it is we can have a direct experience of our truest depths. The most of all that I could desire is the clarity and efficiency to act as a pure channel by which a life of service can deeply honor and impact the totality of the greater good.”
With a growing emphasis on what it takes to live by example, Justin is prepared to do what he can in order to support the true depth our holistic renaissance.
